Pink Persimmon Christmas Projects


Good Morning!  Today I am sharing a few Pink Persimmon Christmas Cards I made a while back.  This one uses "Holly and Mistletoe".

The following two cards were designed using "Merry Christmas Tree".

Project Details

Holly and Mistletoe Card

Stamps : Pink Persimmon Holly and Mistletoe
Ink : Tsukinelo Momento Tuxedo Black
Markers : Copic
Patterned Paper : Little Yellow Bicycle
Ruffled ribbon : Websters Pages
Chalk : Pebbles Inc

Trim red cardstock and adhere to front of 5 x5 card.  Trim green patterned paper slightly smaller and adhere to front of card.  Stamp image (Pink Persimmon Holly and Mistletoe) on white cardstock and color with markers (Copic R29, R59, YG61, G82, YG67, E43, E55).  Trim down to 2 1/8” x 5”. Add chalk (Pebbles Inc) around edges. Adhere to red cardstock and trim along top with deckled scissors (Fiskars).  Adhere to front of card.  Adhere ribbon along bottom edge (ruffled ribbon - Websters Pages).  Stamp sentiment.


A Merry Christmas Tree Card #1


Stamps : Pink Persimmon Merry Christmas Tree
Ink : Tsukineko VersaMagic Hint of Pesto
Embossing Powder : Stampendous
Patterned Paper : Teresa Collins Noel
Jewels : Memory Box
Ribbon : local craft store.
Create a card and card front using Spellbinders Nestibilities Labels Eight.  Stamp tree image on front of card and emboss.  Embellish with jewels and ribbon.
A Merry Christmas Tree Card #2



Stamps : Pink Persimmon Merry Christmas Tree
Ink : Tsukineko VersaMagic Spanish Olive and Red Magic
Patterned Paper : Chatterbox
Spellbinders die : Labels Ten Nestibilities and Grand Calibur
Ribbon : Webster’s Pages
Create A2 card base with green cardstock (Bazzill).  Trim patterned paper (Chatterbox) lightly smaller than card front and adhere.  Trim/embosswhite cardstock using Labels Ten Nestibilities (Spellbinders) with Grand Calibur.  Stamp tree (Pink Persimmon Merry Christmas Tree) as shown and emboss, then add green chalk around edges (Pebbles Inc).  Adhere to green cardstock and trim around, creating a mat. Adhere to front of card. Embellish with gems.  Cut loop off back of bird button (Favorite findings Joanns Fabrics store) and adhere.  Adhere ribbon (Webster’s Pages) as shown.  I use white wet glue along edges of trim/ribbon and let dry before trimming.  It prevents fraying once you cut it.

Pretty cards! I just love Christmas trees made with words and this stamp is great -- love the curls and swirls of the font! I'm working hard to have my cards ready by the time I come to Houston so Mandi can mail them in Dec.
