Artistic Outpost "Picture Star"

Hello stampers!  Today I am sharing a card designed using Artistic Outpost "Picture Star".  Lots of cute images in this 5.5" x 8" stamp set.  I paper pieced the baby and colored all the blue using my Dove Blender Pen.  LOVE these pens.  They are perfect when you have stamped images in a particular color then want to color something in with the same color.  No having to match your ink up with a marker.  The Dove Blender Pen turns your ink pad into a marker!!  On this card I stamped the stars in blue ink then used the same pad and a Dove Blender Pen to color the babies hat, collar, belt, and shoes.

I just noticed they are on sale right now HERE.  I have 1 pen for each major color.  If you decide to give them a try then don't forget to get the refill as well HERE.

This set comes in mounted with cling (23.00) ... and unmounted (14.00).  So make sure you select the option you want from the drop down box.

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
Melisa

Walking in a winter wonderland!

Good Morning card makers!  I love that Christmas carol.  I can't wait til thanksgiving day so I can start paling the Christmas music.  I have to admit .... I already started early in the month as I was working on a Christmas project.  DH snarled a little, teehee, asking what in the world was I doing playing Christmas music already.  I told him it's never to early for Christmas carols and ran him out of my studio!   Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Artistic Outpost November "referrel program".  Each month Artistic Outpost allows customers to link up their Artistic Outpost projects for a chance to win a prize package!  It's anything goes as long as you use their stamps.  For my project I used "Sleigh Ride"

Have a great day!!  Melisa

Artistic Outpost - "Bird's of a Feather"

Another quick shabby card.  I used Artistic Outpost for this one.  I realized I had a couple of their stamp sets, but not used them yet.  Shame on me!   This one is quick and easy to create because I  stamped in solid color, trimmed, and layered all the elements. The doily was cut from white tissue paper and sprayed with ink.

Have a blessed day!
